Dom Nadziei w Afganistanie . Pomoc dla tragarza z Hindukuszu i jego rodziny.

Nazywam się Anna T. Pietraszek. Od ponad pięćdziesięciu lat jestem związana z górami – jako autorka filmów górskich, uczestniczka i dokumentalistka wypraw w najwyższe pasma świata, członkini Polskiego Klubu Górskiego i honorowy członek Polskiego Związku Alpinizmu. Podczas mojej pierwszej z wypraw, w roku 1973, poznałam młodego tragarza z Hindukuszu. Towarzyszył naszej ekspedycji z oddaniem i skromnością, jakich się nie zapomina. Potem jego życie toczyło się w cieniu historii – wojna z radzieckim najeźdźcą, talibowie, nadzieja związana z obecnością NATO i wreszcie tragedia roku 2021, gdy wielka dolina Hindukuszu  została zaatakowana przez talibów, a jego rodzina straciła dom i cały dorobek. Nasz tragarz dziś ma 75 lat. Traci zdrowie, sił brak. Razem z dwiema córkami, synową i wnukiem koczują na obrzeżach Kabulu, w ruinach - jeśli dziadka i ojca zabraknie, zginą tam wszyscy, z głodu i zimna. Od czterech lat staram się im pomagać. Wiem, że tej zimy bez schronienia nie przetrwają. Chcemy zbudować prostą, bezpieczną lepiankę–dom – miejsce, które pozwoli im przeżyć i zacząć od nowa. Koszt szacowany to około 40 000 zł. Nie mogę publikować ich prawdziwych zdjęć – to dla nich zbyt niebezpieczne, talibowie wciąż prześladują górali z tego rejonu Hindukuszu.  Pieniądze przekazuję bezpośrednio, przez Western Union – trafiają w ich ręce. Posiadam potwierdzenia i rachunki każdej transakcji. Nie jest to akcja organizacji, lecz osobista inicjatywa, oparta na wieloletniej znajomości i zaufaniu. Ręczę za nią swoim imieniem, nazwiskiem i dorobkiem zawodowym. Byłam z kamerą w Afganistanie, gdy tylko wkroczyło NATO, w 2002 r., odnalazłam mego tragarza, Caritas pomogła odbudować dom.  Po odejściu NATO ci dzielni ludzie stracili wszystko, także zaufanie do ludzi Zachodu.  Ale wciąż piszą, że jestem jedyną ich nadzieją.  Jeszcze ufają. Każda, nawet najmniejsza wpłata ma znaczenie!  Gdy zakończymy zbiórkę i będę mogla ujawnić szczegóły, obiecuję opisać historię tej niezwyklej przyjaźni -  dowód na to, że PRAWDZIWA PRZYJAŹŃ MOŻE PRZETRWAĆ WSZYSTKO ! mimo wszelkich różnic i wojen !  ten DOM NADZIEI BĘDZIE NASZ, POLSKI DOM W KABULU !

House of Hope in Afganistan. Help for a porter from the Hindu Kush and his family.

My name is Anna T. Pietraszek. I have been connected with the mountains for over fifty years – as a writer of mountain films, a participant and documentarian of expeditions to the highest mountain ranges in the world, a member of the Polish Mountain Club and an honorary member of the Polish Mountaineering Association. During my first expedition in 1973, I met a young porter from the Hindu Kush. He accompanied our expedition with dedication and modesty that cannot be forgotten. Then his life unfolded in the shadow of history – the war with the Soviet invaders, the Taliban, the hope associated with the presence of NATO, and finally the tragedy of 2021, when the great valley of the Hindu Kush was attacked by the Taliban and his family lost their home and all their possessions. Our porter is now 75 years old. He is losing his health and strength. Together with his two daughters, daughter-in-law and grandson, they are camping on the outskirts of Kabul, in ruins – if their grandfather and father is gone, they will all die there, of hunger and cold. I have been trying to help them for four years. I know that they will not survive this winter without shelter. We want to build a simple, safe mud hut – a home – a place that will allow them to survive and start over. The estimated cost is around PLN 40,000. I cannot publish their real photos – it is too dangerous for them, as the Taliban are still persecuting the highlanders from this region of the Hindu Kush. I transfer the money directly via Western Union – it goes straight to them. I have confirmations and receipts for each transaction. This is not an organisational campaign, but a personal initiative, based on many years of acquaintance and trust. I vouch for her with my name, surname and professional achievements. I was in Afghanistan with my camera as soon as NATO entered in 2002, I found my porter, Caritas helped rebuild his house.  After NATO left, these brave people lost everything, including their trust in Westerners. But they still write that I am their only hope. They still trust. Every donation, even the smallest, matters!  When we finish the collection and I can reveal the details, I promise to describe the story of this extraordinary friendship -  proof that TRUE FRIENDSHIP CAN SURVIVE ANYTHING ! despite all differences and wars !  this HOUSE OF HOPE WILL BE OURS, A POLISH HOUSE IN KABUL!
