Chcemy pomóc dzieciom z rodzin wielodzietnych uciec przed koszmarem wojny na Ukrainie. Są to rodziny, które często pełnią rolę rodzin zastępczych dla dzieci z niepełnosprawnościami. Nie mogą wyjechać, bo trudno w 10 lub więcej osób zorganizować transport, opłacić go, a potem znaleźć nowy dom. Już kilkanaście takich rodzin udało nam się sprowadzić na własny koszt, ale to za mało. W samym okręgu dniepropietrowskim jest ich ponad 180 (!). Każda z tych rodzin opiekuje się kilkorgiem, a nawet kilkunastoma dziećmi. Dlatego potrzebujemy więcej autokarów, więcej kierowców i więcej paliwa - by móc ich szczęśliwie sprowadzić do Polski. Chcemy się nimi zaopiekować i pomóc im zamieszkać w Polsce lub dowolnym kraju w Europie. Dać rodzicom pracę, a dzieciom życie z dala od wojny.

Bez Waszego wsparcia nie damy rady im wszystkim pomóc...

Funkcja Miasto - jesteśmy działającą 5 lat organizacją pozarządową, do tej pory skupioną głównie na Krakowie i jego mieszkańcach. Wobec wojny na Ukrainie postanowiliśmy pomóc dzieciom i ich rodzinom.

ENGLISH VERSION

The Russian bombings are a daily nightmare of the city of Dnipro. The residents of this city with a population of one million, live in fear and are terrified for their lives, seeing what is happening in the nearby Mariupol. We cannot allow this, which is why we want to help these people with transport to Poland in safety.

We rescue children from large families from the vicinity of Dnipro, which is only a 4-hour drive from the bombed and completely destroyed Mariupol. We don't want to let any suffering happen to them. Their transport is logistically difficult and unaffordable, so they often cannot pay for it without external help.

Thanks to cooperation with Ukrainian NGOs, we have a database of over 200 large families, with adopted children and people with disabilities. That's over 1,500 people. We have to provide help to them in time, because the war could consume the entire city. When they arrive in Poland and Krakow, we will help them with finding a new home in Europe.

Our goal is to organize the process of evacuation of children to the Polish border. We need cars, coaches, and recently we've arranged a train. Fearless drivers transport people at the risk of their lives and health. One bus costs us USD 2,000 and it makes it possible to rescue at least 5 families, which gives only USD 400 per family. Money is not the most important thing, but it enables us to help these people quickly – they need this help now and not in many days or weeks.

Each amount collected will be spent on an ongoing basis. To begin with, our goal is to collect approximately USD 12,000, which will makes it possible for at least 30 families to be transported safely! Every donation has a direct impact on people's lives!

It's really possible! It's not the first time we've done this. We were already able to transport several families to safety – you can see their photos below. Tired, but smiling and above all, safe!

Who are we? ‘Funkcja Miasto’ Association – we are a non-governmental organization established 5 years ago that has decided to help children and their families in the face of the war in Ukraine. We operate efficiently and quickly, thanks to which we use all the funds in an effective way fulfilling specific needs.
