I live in a small town outside of Warsaw. Our area is receiving a lot of refugees on a daily basis. Some of them stay for a day or two and depart for better life abroad but most of them want to stay here hoping for war to be over. Many refugees will remain in Poland. To support refugees locally we need to supply them with everything from food, cosmetics, daily essentials as well as money for rental, day care, schools, etc. For the moment help is based on local people there for we need direct support from abroad to be able to help those who come to Poland having nothing beside a backpack filled with documents. Money collected will be used partially by local foundations as well as directly spent the needs of local refugees.
