Holiday Charity - Noble Gift

The Noble Gift known as a Szlachetna Paczka is the largest and most recognizable foundation in Poland which helps families in need. It responds to the actual needs of the recipients in the form of Holiday gifts.

Mrs. Anastasia takes care of her disabled mother and is also raising her son alone, who struggles with severe autism. The family had to evacuate from Ukraine due to the ongoing war there. Their lives drastically changed overnight, and all their belongings were destroyed, leaving them without a home. Not long ago, the family enjoyed a peaceful life. Mrs. Anastasia was able to pursue her career, and she had help from Mrs. Marija in raising Artem. Unfortunately, Mrs. Marija's health has significantly deteriorated. She suffers from neurological problems, experiences severe headaches daily, has lost vision in one eye, and is not self-sufficient. 

Artem's autism also presents a challenge. He is introverted, experiences panic attacks and aggression, and requires constant care from his mother. The traumatic experiences related to the war have worsened Artem's condition. 

For these reasons, Mrs. Anastasia is unable to work. 

Three Key Needs of the Family 

1. Laptop 

Artem participates in online classes, but his current laptop is in poor condition. A laptop is also needed for learning programming and foreign languages, activities that Artem dedicates a lot of time to and enjoys. The family cannot afford such an expense at the moment. 

2. Slow Cooker 

Due to his condition, Artem only eats liquid/blended meals. The family lacks many kitchen appliances, and a slow cooker would greatly assist Mrs. Anastasia in preparing meals for her son. 

3. Blender 

The family needs a new blender because preparing meals for Artem requires them to be in a specific form. 

Another Family Needs 

Cleaning Supplies: Soap / Body wash, Shampoo, Toothpaste 

Footwear: Artem- winter boots, size 46; Notes: Men’s winter boots (a voucher for purchasing footwear would be a good option) 

School Supplies: Backpack, Writing tools, Pencil case, Notebooks 

Apartment Equipment: Mattress topper; Notes: Firm mattress topper (90x200 cm, e.g., with coconut fiber or firm bristles) 

Blood Pressure Monitor: Mrs. Marija suffers from hypertension and needs to constantly monitor her health. Their current blood pressure monitor is malfunctioning and becoming unreliable.
