Przedstawiciele zboru natychmiast przystąpili do zakupienia materiałów wyszczególnionych w kosztorysie i już następnego dnia wykonawca wraz z pracownikami rozpoczęli instalowanie pierwszych elementów dachu.
Pragną wspólnie wielbić Boga i mieć miejsce, do którego mogą zapraszać okolicznych mieszkańców, by i oni mogli poznać prawdę. Pomóżmy im zrealizować ich marzenie i pamiętajmy o nich w naszych modlitwach.
ENG By February 2024, thanks to your help, we managed to collect PLN 12,351 for the Mariwa Central SDA Church in Kenya. In March, I had the opportunity to visit the church once again and to see the progress in building their new house of prayer, even before they received the money we had collected for them.
During my stay, I met several times with the representatives of the church: the pastor, the church elder, the secretary and the deacon responsible for church development, to discuss the next stages of construction, the cost estimate prepared by the contractor and how the money we had raised could be transferred and used. I transferred 428,020 Kenyan shillings to the church's bank account (due to the fact that the prices of building materials have increased in the meantime, a total of approximately 1.6 million shillings is currently needed). Representatives of the congregation immediately began purchasing the materials specified in the estimate, and the next day the contractor and workers began installing the first elements of the roof. The amount we collected is less than 1/3 of the amount needed to install the entire roof. Members of the Mariwa Central Church dream of gathering in a safe place, without fear of rain or too much sun. They want to worship God together and have a place to which they can invite their neighbours so that they too can learn the truth. Let's help them realize their dream and remember them in our prayers.
