Nazywam się Tomek Karpiński i chciałbym prosić o Waszą pomóc dla mojego przyjaciela.

Arek Maniuk to mój przyjaciel, kolega z czasów studiów i po prostu wspaniały człowiek. Arek został poddany 9 godzinnej operacji, podczas której wycięto połowę guza mózgu. Reszta była nieoperacyjna i przeznaczona do leczenia radiologicznego. Niestety, po operacji okazało się, że Arek jest w połowie sparaliżowany i doszło do uszkodzenia lewego nerwu okoruchowego. Podczas rehabilitacji pojawiły się napady padaczkowe. Pod koniec sierpnia tego roku, po 5 miesiącach leczenia Arek wrócił do domu.

Pomimo powrotu do domu, Arek potrzebuje ciągłej opieki, rehabilitanta, fizjoterapeuty, neuropsychologa i rehabilitacji w specjalistycznych ośrodkach. Konieczne jest także przystosowanie domu do jego nowych potrzeb.

Zebrane pieniądze pomogą Arkowi i jego żonie Kamilli w tych ciężkich chwilach.

My name is Tomek Karpiński and I would like to ask you to help my friend.

Arek Maniuk is my friend, college buddy and simply a wonderful man. Arek underwent 9 hours surgery during which only half of the brain tumor was removed as the rest of it was inoperable and intended for radiological treatment. Unfortunately, after the surgery it turned out that Arek is half paralyzed and his left oculomotor nerve was damaged. Epileptic seizures appeared during rehabilitation. After 5 months of treatment, Arek returned home.

Despite returning home, Arek needs constant care. He needs help of physiotherapist, neuropsychologist and rehabilitation. Also Arek's house needs to be modified to his new needs. The money collected for Arek will help him and his wife Kamilla in those difficult times. Thank you in advance.

My Dears,
Once again, thank you all for the help you gave my friend. At the moment, Arek is already after the radiological radiation sessions and thanks to your help, among others, he continues complicated rehabilitation sessions learning to walk again and improve his right hand. To my thanks I also add thanks and greetings from Arek. Keep warm!
