Help Make Summer Dreams Come True – Fundraiser by Backbase for Little Prince Family Children's Home on Pomagamy.pl

In honor of Foster Parenting Day, which falls this Friday, May 30th, Backbase is launching a special fundraiser on Pomagamy.pl to support the Little Prince Family Children’s Home in Kraków. With summer just around the corner, we’re coming together to help send these amazing kids on meaningful, joy-filled trips. Let’s make sure at least one child gets the chance to experience a summer adventure they’ll never forget. Every donation goes directly to the Children’s Home—and with Children’s Day right around the corner on June 1st, your early support can help us kick off the campaign with impact! 

The fundraiser will run throughout the entire month, giving everyone time to contribute and be part of something truly special 💛

About the Little Prince Family Children’s Home

For the past 20 years, the LPFCH in Kraków has been a safe haven for children and teenagers in foster care. They’ve cared for 35 young people, many of whom have since grown into strong, independent adults. Some have rejoined their biological families, others have found new ones—but all remain part of our extended family.

Today, they care for 8 children aged 12–18. Another 30 former residents still return to celebrate holidays and milestones. LPFCH is about more than just care—it’s about creating opportunities, offering stability, and showing what’s possible.

THIS SUMMER, THEY NEED YOUR HELP

Summer is a time for joy, discovery, and growth—but it comes with a cost. Sending one child on a summer trip costs 2,000–3,000 PLN, and only one trip is fully funded so far. It would be wonderful if, thanks to our help, even one more child could be sent on vacation.

Meet the amazing young people you’ll be supporting:

• Kacper – A future football star heading to PazdiCamp, thanks to a gift from Michał Pazdan.

• Daniel & Marysia – Registered for an international trip to Italy, with visits to Assisi, Rimini, and San Marino.

• Wiktoria, Leon & Laura – Dreaming of a summer escape to the seaside town of Jarosławiec.

• Kuba – Planning a solo rail adventure through Europe; his ticket is covered, but he needs support for meals and stays.

• Mateusz – Earned his motorcycle license and hopes to train in driving and construction machinery to start his own business one day.
