Wspólnota Radość for refugees

More than two hundred refugees from Ukraine have come to the Community of Joy Baptist Church in Radość in the last week. Some come for a few days and then move on while others are still deciding what is next. Either way, when one family moves on, new ones come to take their place. These are mainly mothers with children and the elderly; they are coming from places such as Kyiv, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Vinnitsa, Nowovolynsk, Bucza, Cherkasy, Lutsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Novograd.

We are here to provide help (housing, meals, etc.), hope, and encouragement however we can. However, the cost of living becomes a challenge. With a hundred people, the necessary expenses like food, heating, and utilities can reach to around 3,000 USD per day! Not to mention the overlooked expenses like transporting a septic tank twice a day, buying an additional washing machine or… flip-flops!

We need your help! We are asking that you consider transferring as much as you can, as regularly as you can. 

There is no doubt, these will be needed as soon as possible.
