Saving 100k Kids from Ukraine

My name is Kuba Lang and I’m one of the co-founder of the charity called ‘Od Granicy Do Mieszkania’. Our bank account is just being registered, however, we do not want to delay the impact that our NGO can deliver. 

The OGDM - ‘Od Granicy Do Mieszkania’  / ‘From the Border to the Flat’- foundation was founded with the mission to ‘help children and refugees from war territories’ in Ukraine. The vision is to become a global advisory that can tackle rises emerging globally. 

We began on the second day of the Ukraine invasion as a group of friends with a mission to organise transportation and accommodation for people crossing the border and sending large amounts of humanitarian supplies into Ukraine. In four weeks time we have grown into an NGO (international non-profit) of over 1,200 volunteers providing the following services:

1. Free transports of people from the Polish borders and Ukraine

2. Finding flats for refugees in Poland 

3. Cargo of accredited supplies 

4. Operational improvement of border crossing and reception points 

Our achievements to date:

1. Free transport of people from the Polish borders and Ukraine

    - More than 77,000 people relocated from the Polish border

    - Rescued over 8,300 people from Ukraine 

    - Helped refugees with the legal challenges of international transit 

2. Finding accommodation for refugees in Poland 

    - Secured over 3,000 flats all over Poland 

    - Linked more than 12,000 people offering housing with the Ukrainian refugees 

3. Cargo of accredited supplies  

    - Sent hundreds of tonnes to Ukraine and receptions points

        - Food & Water

        - Clothing 

        - Basic need products from children 

        - Accredited medical equipement 

4. Operational improvement of border crossing and reception points

    - Built dedicated software to improve the operations at the reception point in Hrubieszów 

    - Trained local champions to achieve greater results and, more important, comfort of the people arriving to Hrubieszów

With every donation we can scale all four pillars of our operation to date.
