New house for Ukrainian OMDers

Hi! 

I am a MarSci and Data&Tech global account lead, working here at the OMD offices in New York City. Before I joined OMD US I was working at OMD Poland for more than 10 years. My country, Poland, is now on the frontline in terms of providing critical humanitarian relief to our Ukrainian neighbors. Today these OMD colleagues in Ukraine are not working on media recommendations. They will not be submitting global reports on time. Instead, they are desperately trying to rebuild their lives in exile. Many of them fled their homes in Kyiv with a single suitcase, forced to leave all of their belongings behind. At the moment, my colleagues in our OMD Warsaw office are doing everything they can to help OMDers and their families make this impossible transition easier.

Through Pomagam.pl and a nonprofit organization Bet Lehem, we are aiming to raise $25,000 to renovate and furnish two houses. Rented by our employees, they will host 83 people. Our OMD Ukraine employees, their families, and other refugees. We need your help in order to transform these houses into homes and to purchase:

· large house appliances (washing machines, refrigerators, ovens)
· small appliances (microwaves, kettles)
· furniture (beds, cabinets)
· kitchen and tableware
· desks, chairs, and school supplies
· pay electricity, gas and internet bills
