Niestety 8 listopada 2019 roku odeszła nasza mama (nowotwór wewnątrzwątrobowy dróg żółciowych), a trochę wcześniej nasz pies Misiek – nowotwór wątroby – tak jakby wiedział, że musi Ją przywitać w niebie. Zostaliśmy we trójkę; brat, siostra i tata.

Na dzień przed śmiercią mamy dowiedzieliśmy się, że nasz tata ma przerzuty dawnego raka jasnokomórkowego nerki do trzustki i do płuc.

Znaleźliśmy wspaniałego lekarza w Polsce, który zoperuje przerzuty w płucach, jednak najpierw trzeba zrobić porządek z trzustką. Rak nerki jest chemoodporny, a dostępne terapie lekowe nie przynoszą oczekiwanych rezultatów. A światło żyły wrotnej jest prawie całkowicie zasłonięte przez nowotwór. Dlatego jedynym rozwiązaniem na wyleczenie jest operacyjne usunięcie przerzutów.

Niestety przerzut w trzustce nacieka spływ żyły wrotnej i korzeń krezki. W świetnym szpitalu w Polsce w lutym otwarto torbę sieciową i odsłonięto trzustkę jednak zmianę uznano za nieresekcyjną w warunkach szpitala.

Jak dowiedzieliśmy się jedyny chirurg, który mógłby tatę zoperować skutecznie i bez powikłań to Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Markus W. Büchler z Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Heidelbergu. Jednak koszt samej operacji niezależnie od dodatkowych kosztów wynosi 60000 EUR.

Operacja musi być wykonana jak najszybciej, bo nowotwór niestety szybko się powiększa, a ta kwota przewyższa nasze możliwości finansowe.

Dlatego chcielibyśmy Was pięknie prosić o wsparcie.

Hello, my friends, acquaintances, colleagues,

In the photo you can see our family in December 2018.

Unfortunately, on November 8, 2019, our mother passed away (intrahepatic bile duct cancer), and a little earlier our dog Misiek (liver cancer), as if he knew that he must greet her in heaven. Now we are -  the three of us; brother, sister, and dad.

The day before our mother's death, we learned that our father has metastases of former clear cell carcinoma of the kidney to the pancreas and to the lungs.

We have found a great doctor in Poland who will perform lung operation, but first we need to clean up the pancreas. Kidney cancer is chemotherapy resistant, and the available drug therapies do not bring the expected results. And the portal vein is almost completely obscured by the cancer. Therefore, the only solution to cure is the surgical removal of the metastases.

Unfortunately, metastasis in the pancreas infiltrates portal vein drainage and the mesenteric root. In a great hospital in Poland in February, a net bag was opened and the pancreas was exposed, but the change was considered unresectable in this hospital conditions.

As we learned, the only surgeon who could operate our dad effectively and without complications is Prof. Dr. Dr. H. C. Markus W. Büchler from the Medical University of Heidelberg. However, the cost of the operation itself, regardless of additional costs, is EUR 60 000.

The surgery must be performed as soon as possible because the cancer started to grow unfortunately rapidly and this amount exceeds our financial capabilities.
