In 2024, Ukraine is entering its third year of the full-scale russian invasion. Millions of displaced people, thousands of homes destroyed, hundreds of cities damaged. The lives changed, the lives lost.

During this hard time, the Natolin community has shown incredible amounts of support to the Ukrainian people.

«We Natolinians for Ukrainians» is an initiative launched by the students of the Vogel-Polsky promotion of the College of Europe in Natolin as a response to the horrors of the russian invasion of Ukraine. In the first year alone, it managed to gather around 15,000€ to help Ukrainian children orphaned by the war. Last year, the initiative was picked up by the students of the David Sassoli promotion and made an important contribution to the Ukrainian Volunteer Paramedical Battalion “Hospitallers”.

This year, we, the students of Madeleine Albright promotion, are proud to take over this initiative. The war in Ukraine is far from over, and hundreds of volunteers all over the world are working tirelessly to bring our victory closer.

The organisation we wish to support this year is «Future for Ukraine», founded in Poland in March 2022 by a group of Ukrainian women. Its main goals are supporting women and children affected by russian aggression, helping wounded soldiers return to normal life with prosthetics, as well as assisting medics in Ukraine with vital equipment.

We will be supporting «Future for Ukraine»’s efforts to gather donations for portable medical equipment, such as defibrillators and ultrasound scanners. This equipment could make all the difference for medical professionals working day and night to save lives on the ground.
