Treatment in the United States

Even before childbirth, on a control ultrasound, the doctor saw a change in Daniel over the left adrenal gland. Back then, everyone thought it was a harmless hematoma. Immediately after giving birth, our son got pneumonia and we spent a month in the hospital. During this time, the hematoma was examined, it even began to diminish. After 9 months, it completely disappeared. However, our fear did not diminish. Something in the back of our head bothered us and we started examining our son on our own. One month after the last ultrasound, another examination was done. And it was a blow to the heart. The harmless hematoma turned out to be a  Neuroblastoma stage IV, it’s a high-risk tumor. At the time of Daniel's admission to the hospital, the metastases were already in the skull, spine, pelvis, sacrum and shoulder bones.

From February 2020, the treatment has started. After months in the hospital, eight cycles of chemotherapy and surgery, it's time for an autologous stem-cell transplantation. Autologous stem-cell transplantation, radiotherapy and immunotherapy. Despite minor adversities, Daniel endured each step of the treatment very well. The last step is left. We would like to proceed with treatment in the United States. Its cost is astronomical for our family and we will not be able to collect it ourselves. That is why we are here and we are asking you for help.
