Family Story

Ms. Maja is a devoted single mother raising her four sons. Their family is built on a foundation of love, mutual support, and quality time spent together. Ms. Maja often shares that her children are her top priority, and she works tirelessly to ensure they feel cared for and have everything they need.

Every day, she takes her youngest sons, Maks and Mikołaj, to and from preschool, while her older sons, Piotr and Filip, return from school independently. During the brief hours when her children are away, Ms. Maja prepares meals and takes care of household chores. Despite her busy days, she finds immense joy in her role as a mother, drawing strength and motivation from her sons.

Ms. Maja is divorced and receives no support from her ex-husband, who left her with a loan she is still repaying. She is actively looking for work but faces challenges due to limited availability while her younger children are at preschool. Occasionally, she takes on odd jobs, such as cleaning, but these opportunities have become scarce.

The family's greatest strength is their unwavering love, teamwork, and resilience in the face of challenges.

Daily Life

The family enjoys playing board games, watching family movies, and walking their three beloved dogs. Despite their strong bond, they face financial hardships. Ms. Maja’s monthly income totals 4,100 PLN, with fixed expenses of 1,680 PLN, leaving just 484 PLN per family member. The debt left by her ex-husband further strains their budget, and she often has to say no to even small treats for her children.

Ms. Maja dreams of one day living in a house in the countryside, though she acknowledges it feels like a distant goal. For now, she remains focused on providing for her children and creating a loving home.
