Dare to change child's life!

All of us have some sort of dream and a fair chance to make this dream, wish or idea come true. But what about those who never had or will have such a chance? What about children who were born in drastic conditions with no possibility to improve on their future? And sooner or later they'll give up, the sparkles in their eyes will fade away because the reality is so overwhelming.

Here at Frank Recruitment Group (FRG), we work on keeping these sparkles alive and give at least some of these children a chance to fulfil their dreams. The company I am working for, is helping children in Nairobi to get a decent education by supporting St. Martin’s School, so all the kids will have a fair chance and kick start in life. Some of us may think that education is not that important as long as you are a hardworking and determined person. However, I'm not sure anyone would know what they want if all they've ever seen and experienced in life were the surroundings of Kibagare slums. In Kibagare, one of Nairobi's sprawling informal urban settlements, millions of people live in cramped quarters on clay floors and in corrugated metal housing structures. These homes have very little access to the most basic of public services, such as running water, sewage and electricity.

St. Martin's School offers a safe environment where almost 1,000 of the most vulnerable children from the Kibagare slums can thrive through education and be empowered to change the future of their communities.

I am very proud and happy to be able to make people aware of this fantastic project. I know that not everyone is mindful of what's happening on the other side of the world just like I wasn’t before I started raising money for St. Martin’s. I still can't believe that in this age and time some people live like it's XIX century, with no electricity or running water.  

I can proudly announce that so far this year, FRG raised £11,000 which allowed to donate new technical equipment and enable internet access in St. Martin's School. Furthermore, we started our e-mentoring program, where FRG employees could sign up and become mentors for St. Martin's pupils - and so did I! 😊 In September I'll be traveling to Nairobi to visit St. Martin’s School and see for myself how these donations can make a difference. In order to help me get there, I've started this fundraiser page. I want people to be aware that young children in Nairobi need an access to education and basic human rights. I want all of you to know that we can make a difference and make the world a better place. For ourselves and for others. Let's make it happen. Please help me to make a change!
