Kharkiv Medical Aid

Hi, I'm Radek Tkaczyk and I'm a software engineer at Trumid.

A few weeks ago (July 21st) I got into my car and drove all the way from Warsaw, PL to Kharkiv, UA. I brought with me medical supplies which were handed directly to people taking care of the wounded at the frontline in the Kharkiv region. The supplies included:- stretchers
- transport chairs
- first aid kits (IFAK)
- vented dressings (for chest wounds)
- tactical tourniquets
- medical backpacks
- dressings and gels for burns
- and assorted meds and accessories

In total 17.7k PLN was spent on the supplies, mostly from my own pocket, but also with significant contributions from my close friends.

While being there I got to see how badly the city was damaged, yet how strong and well organised its inhabitants are. It was a truly heart-warming experience to see how these people care about each other and continue to cherish the little things they have. I want to share their stories and continue to support them. The help I brought was greatly appreciated, though it was just a drop in the bucket. 

That’s why on Aug 17th I am going there again. This time as a driver in a convoy organised by the Humanosh Foundation (https://www.humanosh.org/EN), but I will also be organising similar supplies as the previous time. I am cooperating with Харків Відродження (Kharkiv Revival, https://www.help-kharkov.com/) foundation in order purchase equipment that best suits the current needs. I am asking for your contributions to help me finance this mission and ease the suffering caused by this unlawful war.
