For Malgorzata

Mrs Malgorzata is 47 years old. She found herself in a situation she doesn’t see getting better. She lives in horrible conditions with her two daughters and two grandchildren. The house, the family currently lives in, poses a threat to their health and lives. The biggest threat is the roof which can collapse anytime. During rainy days the family must collect the water that leaks through the roof otherwise they will get flooded. The walls are cracked, the rooms have damp, electric installation can be set on fire anytime.

Mrs Malgorzata is deaf on one ear, her youngest daughter Weronika (23 yrs old) was born with cerebral palsy and requires constant care. Oldest daughter Paulina (26 yrs old) has two children, son Gabrysia (6 yrs old) and daughter Maja (5 yrs old). Son is suffering from a heart condition, intellectual disability and left-hand hemiparesis. He needs to be under constant consultation with doctors. 

About a year ago Mrs. Malgorzata’s husband disappeared under an excuse of visiting friends. His disappearance case was handed over to the police. When he was found by them, he insisted to the police to let his family know he doesn’t want any contact with them. Soon after Mrs Malgorzata started receiving mail informing her of unpaid loans. Turns out the husband was taking loans in secret from the family. He also was taking them in the family’s names such as his disabled daughter Weronika. Mrs Malgorzata upon finding out what her husband did she filed for a divorce turning to her lawyer, which is also helping her with the loans her husband taken and making sure he pays for them and her daughter won’t have financial debts but it is more complicated than it seems. Mrs Malgorzata is feeling helpless she’s trying to seek help from every institution she knows of, however, in the times of the current pandemic, no help can be provided to her and her family.

What are we raising the money for?

Our priority is fixing the roof. We are asking you people with big hearts to help raise the funds for materials to fix the roof. This will let the whole family sleep sound at night not worrying about changing the bowls every few hours at night.

Together we can give the family a new start. Even the smallest contribution means a lot to us.
