Nowy start w Krakowie

When Russia attacked Ukraine, people in Poland wanted tohelp in any way they could. Many Poles opened their homes and apartments topeople fleeing the war. That's how in March 2022, we met a wonderful Ukrainian family who have become very dear to our hearts.

Very soon our friends became like family to us. Ahard-working and loving mother quickly found a steady job, determined to giveher sons a better life. Her two bright and energetic boys started attending aschool in Krakow. As the months went by, it became clear that our friends wouldnot be able to return to Ukraine anytime soon. They had no choice but to stayin Krakow, where they had already made a life for themselves.

Yet, finding a permanent home for a foreigner with childrenis not easy. The search was long and difficult. Finally, we found a small andcozy apartment in a quiet neighborhood, close to the boys' school.Unfortunately, the cost of rent and utilities is more than our friends canafford on their own. What is worse, the rental prices in the city areconstantly rising. The monthly cost of this apartment is about 3,200 PLN (rent+ administrative rent + utilities).

That's why we are reaching out to you today for help. Thecontract is for a year, so it requires total of 38,400 PLN. We are hoping toraise 27,000 PLN to cover the family's living expenses for the next year. Withyour help, this family can live in a safe and comfortable home, and the boyscan pursue their dreams.We are so grateful for any support you can offer.
